I assisted artist Heidi Nibistt (of Sketching Summits) in painting a landscape mural of the Greyson Highlands. The commission was for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy in Damascus, Virginia.

Not only was this my first time painting a mural, it occurred a 500 miles in during my own Appalachian thru hike!
